Symbolism & Imagery:

Like the other Pages in most traditional Tarot decks, the Page of Cups depicts a messenger. They are standing on the shoreline, with a calm blue sea in the background. Their outfit is pretty flamboyant, with a patterned tunic, scarf, and beret. The colors of the card are calming and serene.

The Page is holding a cup, and in the cup, there is a fish. The fish appears to be looking up at the Page, and the Page is looking down at the fish with a pleasant look on their face. It is often understood that the fish represents unexpected creativity and dreams. It has appeared in the cup, popping its head up towards the Page. The Page is surprised but pleasantly! I love the relaxed stance of the Page in this card.

They are definitely at one with the element of water and their own emotions. They are open to new ideas and exciting news and appear to be secure and confident in who they are. There is a youthfulness to them and a hopefulness for the future.
